Founded in Genroku 2 (1689).
During the Horeki era, Akita domain lord Satake praised our sake as "excellent" and granted us the sake name "Hideyoshi." In Kaei 1, we were granted the honor of being the domain's official sake.
Since then, we have received tremendous support from the local community and have continued sake brewing as a family business.
The essence of our sake brewing lies in harmony with the regional food culture.
I am deeply grateful for all the blessings brought by the fertile land of "Senboku Plain." This is because we base our sake brewing on "the joy of being born in this land" and "respect for the nature of our homeland."
And if we can contribute to "protecting the rich food culture of our region" and "the true development of the local community" along with our business, there would be no greater joy.
Also, the people who gather and work at this brewery make sake while thinking of our customers' smiles. This is our purpose in life and our satisfaction. All our employees hope that we can continue to be sake that accompanies our customers throughout their lives.
Finally, to the next generation.
We are exploring ways to create new "spaces" and "places" where people can enjoy Japanese sake. Would you like to think and create together?
The "Hideyoshi" brewery is always open.
Would you like to take a look at the "future mysteries" of the mature business of "sake brewing"?
